Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs, preferences, and desired styles
- Offer professional advice on suitable hairstyles based on clients’ hair type, face shape, and lifestyle
- Perform hair cutting, trimming, and shaping using scissors, clippers, and other styling tools
- Style and set hair using various techniques such as blow-drying, curling, and straightening
- Apply hair color, highlights, and lowlights to achieve desired shades and effects
- Provide hair treatments, including conditioning, moisturizing, and repairing damaged hair
- Perform scalp massages and treatments to promote relaxation and improve hair health
- Keep up-to-date with current hair care trends, techniques, and products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing tools and equipment
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction
- Upsell hair care products and services to clients based on their needs
Requirements:
- Completion of a formal cosmetology or hairstyling program
- Relevant professional experience as a hairstylist

- Shampoo customers’ hair

- Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
- Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
- Suggest hair style compatible with client’s physical features or determine style from client’s instructions and preferences
- Perform receptionist duties
