Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers and heavy trucks to transport goods.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and secure it properly for transportation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks, trip sheets, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules, routes, and any issues that may arise.
- Handle delivery paperwork and maintain records of delivered goods.
- Monitor vehicle performance and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and ensure it is fueled and ready for each trip.

Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
