Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued, and respected.
  • Observe and assess children’s behavior, progress, and needs, and maintain accurate records of their development.
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to create individualized learning plans for children with special needs or unique requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support in daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and toileting.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to promote open communication and a supportive community.
