HOW TO MAKE EFORIRO SOUP // VEGETABLE SOUP

Eforiro soup, also known as vegetable soup, is a popular Nigerian dish that’s both hearty and delicious. This savory soup is made using a combination of leafy greens like spinach or kale, along with other vegetables such as tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions.

  • 2kg Goat meat or beef(Goat meat works best)
  • 1 kg beef( flanken style ribs)
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ kg shaki and kpomo
  • 2 knorr beef cube to season beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Handful of chopped onion
  • Smoked fish
  • Stock fish flakes(soaked in hot water for 1 hour)
  • 2 bunch fresh Efo shoko or spinach
  • Pepper mix
  • 3 medium bell Peppers
  • 4-5 scotch bonnet pepper(add according to heat tolerance)
  • ½ cup palm oil
  • Handful of chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons iru
  • 2 tablespoons crayfish
