BREAKING: Chiroman Dukku, Yakubu Rasheed dies at 51

Younger brother to the Emir of Dukku who held the traditional title of Chiroman Dukku of Dukku Emirate Council in Gombe State, Engr. Yakubu A. Rasheed passed on at the earlier hours of today.

He died after a brief illness at the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe.

Confirming his death to News Direct, Umar Muazu Dono a closed friend of the deceased said the Chiroman Dukku who was also a private businessman left behind a wife and two children.

Born in 1972, Yakubu Rasheed, a water resource engineer from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, was a member of the APC 2023 Presidential Campaign Council, North East Zone and a one time board member of Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) .

Late Engineer Yakubu Rasheed had worked with Gombe State Water Corporation.

The deceased funeral prayer is slated for 4pm at the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe.
