VIDEO: Deputy Governor, Shaibu adopts ‘serubawon’ style, floods Edo with vehicles for campaign

Fresh Battle: How Obaseki Made Last Minute Plot To Frustrate Shauibu's Governorship Declaration

Deputy Governor of Edo State, Phillip Shaibu has adopted the ‘serubawon’ style by flooding the state with campaign vehicles sending a powerful signal to all that it’s no retreat no surrender.

In a video clip obtained by News Direct, many vehicles including ambulances bearing the posters of the Edo number two citizen were displayed after he formally declared his intention to take over from his boss, Godwin Obaseki on Monday.

Shaibu and his principal not too long ago buried the hatchet after a prolonged battle that even attracted the attention of the court.

The battle line has been drawn as Shaibu has completed his plan to remain in government house come 2024.

His message is loud and clear, it’s no retreat, no surrender.

The only difference between him and the late former Governor of Osun State, Senator Adeleke’s ‘serubawon’ is that he has not added helicopter to his campaign fleet of vehicles.
