Transformers Rise of the Beasts: ENDING EXPLAINED

The Beasts have risen into theaters near us! Optimus Prime meets Optimus Primal to defeat Unicron in the summer’s latest action extravaganza, featuring Autobots new and old in a nostalgic 90’s setting that manages to outdo the Michael Bay movies at every possible turn. The ending is exciting, offering titanic highs and enrapturing story threads regarding where future movies can go from here. And it’s not just limited to future Transformers movies, they’ve got G. I. Joe is there! There may not have been a war between Beasts, but fans of the Beast Wars cartoon will find plenty to enjoy in the film. They’ve even got Michelle Yeoh as Airazor! The film’s got a bunch of fake-out deaths that’ll make your heart stop, but it’s all worth it in the end. The future of the franchise is exciting, as the Introduction of G.I. Joe brings in many possibilities. We could see characters from that series cameo in future Transformers movies, helping set up the adjacent universe of films. If Transformers can successfully reboot, why not both?
