The moment you see a speeder, whether it’s the bike style in Return of the Jedi or Luke’s X-34 Landspeeder in A New Hope, you instantly think “well that’s the way I want to get around forever.” They glide over terrain, they’re fast, they make a cool sound…why would you use anything other than a speeder?
