Shakira Says Gerard Piqué ‘Betrayed’ Her While Her Dad Was in the ICU

Shakira isn’t holding back details about the end of her relationship with ex Gerard Piqué. The Colombian singer tells ‘People en Español’ that her father was visiting her in Barcelona amid the split when he was ‘gravely injured’ in an accident. Shakira says, ‘Everything happened at once. My home was falling apart. I was finding out through the press that I had been betrayed while my dad was in the ICU.’ She and Gerard announced their separation in June of last year. Shakira allegedly discovered he cheated on her with the woman he is now dating, Clara Chía.
