Richard Branson is one of the wildest billionaires out there. He has gone above and beyond to show himself as the UK’s poster boy for the kind of excess billionaires are supposed to be known for. Sure he hasn’t dressed up like a bat to fight crime but give him time. So far he’s been involved in over 400 different businesses, including sending people to space with his Virgin company. He was even on an episode of Friends! So with all of the wild decadence Branson is known for, what would you expect from him as far as crazy purchases go? Obviously the man has purchased himself an island estate for several millions of dollars. As you’d expect, they are pretty over the top.
This Moskito island estate is a true masterpiece when it comes to island getaways. Only a bit over a dozen people can stay there in the joined estates. It features a ton of communal living spaces, party areas and enormous pools that are just begging to be swam through. Water slides and all! It is an impeccable space with gorgeous beaches, palm trees, and perfect weather. Well, when it isn’t tropical storm season. While you would think that this island wasn’t a place for normal people to stay in, you can actually rent yourself a space there. Though it is not cheap.
