Norman Lear Dead at 101

Prolific TV producer Norman Lear has died. He was 101. Lear died at his home in Los Angeles of natural causes on Tuesday, a spokesperson tells ET in a statement. A private service for immediate family will be held. The titan of television was the mastermind behind iconic series ‘All in the Family,’ ‘The Jeffersons,’ ‘Maude’ and ‘Good Times,’ along with ‘One Day at a Time’ and the sitcom’s 2017 reboot.
