Disney Plus’ Loki has only been around for 2 episodes so far and there’s already been major consequences for the MCU. With Tom Hiddleston’s Loki joining up with the Time Variance Authority, there was bound to be some type of Doctor Who styled time mishaps but with the second episode revealing Sophia Di Martino’s character as a female looking Loki, things have really started to heat up. And although it’s easy to just go with what looks to be obviously Lady Loki, maybe things aren’t always what they seem at first glance. Marvel is no stranger to pulling the rug out from underneath its fans, all you have to do is ask any WandaVision fans hoping for some multiversal sibling reuniting, and with this introduction, that might not have been the last time either. Maybe Marvel is taking a page from the Trickster God himself and being a little mischievous with their characters. I mean, they both have M’s so that’s way more than enough to start a fan theory over.
So let’s look into exactly who Lady Loki is, her backstory and why the character we saw in episode two might not actually be her. What do you think about the theory that Lady Loki isn’t who she appears to be?
