Joe Jonas appears to be a no-show in court for day one of the custody battle against estranged wife Sophie Turner. Sophie Turner appeared in court with her hair pulled back, wearing a black button-down in a white room. Sophie’s lawyer says a trial this year is essential on child custody, not next year. Her lawyer said, “We have a petitioner who is here right now in the United States but has work obligations in the UK in January" referring to his client, Turner. Her lawyer wants a two-day trial. The children are currently with Sophie in NYC.
