Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is in theaters now – no Spielberg and no Lucas, but plenty of James Mangold, Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and even Antonio Banderas, with a sprinkling of Archimedes and his Antikythera. After Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, The Last Crusade and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, movie number 5 is something of a swansong for the butt-kicking archaeologist.
