Elon Musk Reveals That He Is Buying Twitter (And How It Will Help Humanity)

The richest man in the world, Elon Musk, has agreed to purchase Twitter for $44 billion. In a letter to Twitter advertisers, he wrote that social media websites are critical to our society and that his goal is to have them help humanity.
Elon Musk has been under fire for the past few weeks due to claims that he will turn the company into a boisterous forum, in turn scaring off future advertisers.
Elon Musk tweeted that Twitter will not be free for all after he acquires it.
“Twitter obviously cannot become a free-for-all hellscape, where anything can be said with no consequences!” he tweeted via a note. “In addition to adhering to the laws of the land, our platform must be warm and welcoming to all.” Twitter aspires to be the most respected advertising platform in the world that strengthens your brand. To everyone who has partnered with us and helped build this amazing company, thank you. With every tweet we send, we will remain true to Twitters original spirit – honest space for vital conversation.
In this note, Musk comes across more as a serious owner of Twitter rather than his original joke from earlier on in the day. He captioned his tweet “let that sink in!”
The reason for that is that Musk also changed his Twitter description to “Chief Twit” around the same time.
Elon Musk wrote that he is buying Twitter because it is “important to the future of civilization” for people to be able to have a one-stop shop for finding out about important current events in hopes that this will eliminate violence.
“The lesson here is that you only see what you want to see because most people don’t want to do anything about it, it’s too hard. They think it’s not their problem.” he added.
Elon Musk only wanted to buy Twitter if they could prove they had real, active users. However, when it comes to using real numbers, Twitter told him that they inflated their users. This is a sentence rewriter.
The court told Musk to complete the deal by October 28.
