BREAKING: Pregnant Woman About To Give Birth Kidnapped On Her Way To Hospital

A pregnant woman, reportedly on her way to the state general hospital in Ijaiye, Abeokuta from her residence in Oke Lantoro, was abducted.

Her husband, Ogunbunmi Lateef, received a WhatsApp message notifying him of his wife’s kidnapping.

Confirming the incident, Police Spokesman Omolola Odutola issued a brief statement on Thursday, saying, “Ogunbunmi Lateef of Oke Lantoro reported that his pregnant wife, who was due for delivery, left home for State Hospital Ijaiye Abeokuta. He received a WhatsApp message confirming the abduction of his wife by unknown armed men.”

Ogun State is currently grappling with a surge in criminal activities within the South West region.
