BREAKING: Peter Obi Reacts After Gov Otti Appointed Mayor Of Aba City

Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi, has reacted to the appointment of Mayor of Aba City City.

Governor Alex Otti, of Abia State, had appointed Ide John Udeagbala as the Mayor of Aba City. That appointment drew mixed reactions from members of the public. While some applauded it, others sat on the fence with few others reacting negatively to it.

However, taking to his X account on Thursday, Obi expressed his thoughts while commending the appointment.
The LP presidential candidate said, ”I am delighted with the appointment of Ide John Udeagbala as the Mayor of Aba City, by the Governor of Abia State, Dr @alexottiofr. Ide John Udeagbala is a successful businessman and industrialist who through years of hard work, has built many productive ventures and such public trust.”

”I wish him well in his new assignment. I also thank Gov Otti for this initiative, and for all his efforts to deliver good governance to the people of Abia State. By doing the right things, and providing ethical leadership to the people, we will build the New Nigeria of our dreams. -PO.”
