BREAKING: Falcons’ Oshoala Crowned African Women’s Player Of The Year

Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala has added another feather to her cap, winning the illustrious African Women’s Player of the Year for a record-extending sixth time  

The 27-year-old played a key role in Barcelona’s UEFA Women’s Champions League success last season.

Oshoala also scored once in four appearances for Nigeria at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The Barcelona star was crowned as the winner of the 2023 CAF Women’s Player of the Year ahead of South Africa’s Thembi Kgatlana to earn the feat.
