Atiku's Lawyer Reveals Tinubu's Certificate Was Forged, Gives Details

A lawyer of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has revealed that President Bola Tinubu’s certificate was forged.

During a press conference led by Abubakar, the lawyer representing the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Kalu Kalu, accused President Bola Tinubu of presenting a forged degree certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the 2023 election. This claim arose after Chicago State University released President Tinubu’s academic records to Abubakar.

Kalu stated that the documents revealed several inconsistencies, indicating forgery. He pointed out that the certificate submitted by Tinubu bore a female gender marker, suggesting it did not belong to him. Furthermore, discrepancies between the admission form, the claimed attendance at Government College Lagos, and the established date of the school raised doubts about the authenticity of the documents.

Kalu said, “One, that Bola Ahmed Tinubu forged the certificate he presented to INEC. That, two, that the qualifying certificate from South West College to Chicago State University bears a female indicating that that document does not belong to Bola Ahmed Tinubu. “Three, the Chicago State University admission form has a claim that Bola Ahmed Tinubu attended Government College Lagos and graduated in 1970 when indeed the school was established in 1974.

When questioned about the documents’ significance in the Supreme Court, Kalu emphasized that the Supreme Court allows the presentation of new evidence under specific conditions. He argued that the conditions were met based on the proceedings in the US courts, indicating that the evidence could play a crucial role in the legal proceedings.
