BREAKING: APC Loses To PDP In Bauchi As Supreme Court Gives Judgment

The Supreme Court has delivered judgment in the governorship election battle in Bauchi State.

The apex court affirmed the victory of Governor Bala Mohammed of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the March 18 election in Bauchi State.

Despite the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declaring Mohammed the winner, his All Progressives Congress (APC) counterpart, Sadique Abubakar, contested the outcome in court.

Although the tribunal and the appeal court had previously validated the governor’s victory, Abubakar pursued the case to the highest court.
