JUST IN: Labour Party Warns Former NBA President, Akpata To Stay Off Edo Governorship Race

The Labour Party has issued a warning to Olumide Akpata, the former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), advising him to keep a distance from the party.

The party asserted that Akpata is perceived as a mole strategically placed within their ranks.

In a statement released on Wednesday and signed by Dr. Abayomi Arabambi, the Labour Party accused Olumide Akpata of serving as Governor Obaseki’s operative within the party.

The statement said, “Labour Party Edo State is in for a serious business and not a political orphanage, where all manners of politically spent forces or junks can be deposited”.
