BREAKING: Akeredolu’s Deputy, Aiyedatiwa Sworn In As Governor

The acting governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has officially been sworn in as the new executive governor of the state.

Aiyedatiwa’s swearing-in comes barely 24 hours after the death of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

According to sources familiar with the matter, Gov Akeredolu died in a German hospital on Wednesday morning – an incident which had generated reactions and condolences from several quarters.
