Renowned Nollywood actor has passed away a few days to Christmas celebration.

The top actor, Dejumo Lewis, died at the age of 80 following an undisclosed illness.

The news of the veteran actor’s demise was shared by actor Saidi Balogun on his Instagram page. Balogun posted a photo of the late Dejumo Lewis, bidding him farewell and offering prayers for his soul to rest in peace.

In a heartfelt message, Balogun wrote, “Good night DEJUMO LEWIS, may your soul rest in perfect peace.”

Dejumo Lewis, celebrated for his exceptional roles in movies such as “A Place in the Stars,” ‘Crossroads,’ ‘Power of 1,’ and notably for portraying the Kabiyesi character in ‘The Village Headmaster,’ leaves behind a legacy of remarkable contributions to the Nigerian film industry.
