BREAKING: Messi Wins 8th Ballon d’Or

Lionel Messi has been announced as the winner of the 2023 Ballon d’Or awards.

The award ceremony is organized to award the best footballer from the 2022/23 season with football’s most prestigious prize.

Messi, now with 8 triumphs to his name is the most decorated winner of all time but faced stiff competition from Manchester City’s Erling Haaland who had a record-breaking season of his own and PSG’s Kylian Mbappe after he won Ligue 1 and played a huge part in taking France to the World Cup final.
