Following her “Taki Taki” collaboration with DJ Snake, Selena Gomez, and Ozuna, Cardi B teams up with Dominican rapper El Alfa on his Spanish single “Mi Mami.”
The vibrant video finds a pink-haired Cardi strutting in lingerie and standing in front of a giant popcorn box that resembles the one she was seen holding courtside at the NBA All-Star Game. Kulture’s mother celebrates her Latin roots, singing in Spanish while curled up on the couch with a phone.
After dropping her new single “Money” last month, Cardi is planning a re-release of her debut album Invasion of Privacy with unreleased tracks. “The plan was always to drop a, like, bonus,” she told Beats 1. “But I just didn’t [think] I was going to be so busy doing back-and-forth, back-and-forth things after I gave birth. Maybe in December or just maybe January. It’s just songs that I felt were really good songs that didn’t make the album.”
But first she is set to launch her first collaboration with Fashion Nova on Nov. 15. The 80-piece collection will include denim, outerwear, accessories, and more.
